Plasma cutting (plasma arc cutting) is a melting process in which a jet of ionised gas at temperatures above 20,000°C is used to melt and expel material from the cut.
Plasma cutting is the fastest cutting process on carbon steel, aluminium, or stainless steel.
Plasma cutting can be combined with oxy fuel on the same machine.
Oxy-fuel cutting is a chemical reaction between pure oxygen and steel to form iron oxide.
Only metals whose oxides have a lower melting point than the base metal itself can be cut with Oxy Fuel process.

Laser cutting is a technology that uses a laser to cut materials, and is typically used for industrial manufacturing applications, but is also starting to be used by schools, small businesses, and hobbyists.
Laser cutting works by directing the output of a high-power laser most commonly through optics.

Mill
A CNC, or computer numeric control, milling machine is a piece of computerized workshop equipment that can perform multiple tasks, such as drilling and turning. This machine replaces the need for several individual milling machines. It is given instructions by computer software commands known as numeric control.
CNC lathe is the same as a manual lathe except a CNC lathe is controlled by a computer.
It is primarily used to machine round parts such as screws.
A CNC lathe has 3-5 axis, the spindle holds the part and spins as the turret which holds the tool, moves in and makes the cut depending on how the user programmed the machine.
The main parts are the spindle, the tailstock, the computer, the tool turret and the frame.
